Ages 2 (potty trained) to incoming 2nd  grade.

 

Summer camps are a very intimate and gentle introduction to our campus and staff and are open to anyone but highly recommended for families who wil be new to SOCHH in the fall!

SOCHH's Little Explorer's Camp runs 

Tuesday thru Thursday 9am-1pm on the following weeks: 

June 11, 12, 13
June 18, 19, 20 
June 25, 26, 27

Register for 1, 2, or 3 weeks! Themes changes weekly!  

Classes will focus on age appropriate soft skills (communication, impulse control, active listening, growth mindset, teamwork, problem-solving, etc.) in a play based environment. Themes will revolve around a read-aloud literature and there will be fun activities and crafts planned to reflect that theme, followed by some old fashion summer camp FUN like waterplay, outdoor games, etc! 

Students will have snack breaks and recess, and may bring 2 hearty snacks or a lunch along with plenty of water. On days that include water play, we will give advance notice for things like extra clothes and towels.

 All children must be potty trained. Classes will be split by age and development:

Preschool is 2 and 3 year olds

TK/K is all 4 and 5 year old

K/1/2 is for older 5 and 6 and 7year olds and/or those going into 1st and 2nd grade in the fall

 

Fees: 
$480 for all 3 weeks
$195 for 1 week
$60 daily drop in (enrollment subject to availability, please email)

We need a minimum of 5 students enrolled each week; we intentionally try to keep this class small and will cap at 8-10 little ones each week.

Full payment is required at time of enrollment. All payments are non-refundable unless the class is class is cancelled due to low enrollment. If your student is unable to attend for any reason, we will issue a SOCHH credit if notice is given prior to 2 weeks before the start of class.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does my student need to be potty trained? YES. We welcome all 2-6 year old who are fully potty trained and able to use the restroom without assistance!

Do I have to attend all 3 weeks of the Little Explorers program? No! Students can pick which week(s) to attend!

How many students in each class? Each weekly session will have no more than 8 littles in the younger classes and will max out at 10 in the 5/6 year old class.

What does my student need to bring? Students should bring plenty of water, a small snack and a lunch or two hearty snacks, and a full change of clothing. Your teacher will reach out in advance with any specific or special details and instructions.

Is there a refund if I decide later I can not attend? No. Because we have a very limited number of spots available each week, please be sure you can and will attend before signing up. All payments made are non refundable. 

Terms & Agreement

By signing below I understand and agree to a full and complete waiver and release of any and all liability (“Liability Release”) on the part SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool), its staff, teachers, playground monitors and parent volunteers in connection with my child’s attendance at SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool) and participation in all activities, including, but not limited to, playground activities, classroom activities and field trips taken in connection with SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool). I understand and agree that this Liability Release will apply to the entire duration of my child’s attendance at SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool) and participation in all activities. I further authorize anyone working at SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool) to obtain medical care for my child or to transport my child to a clinic or hospital if, in the opinion of anyone working at SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool), medical attention is needed for my child. I agree that if SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool) releases my child to me, my designee, an ambulance or other medical transport, a medical facility, a clinic or a hospital, that SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool) staff shall not have any further responsibility for my child. I agree to pay all costs associated with such medical care and related transportation for my child and indemnify and hold SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool), its representatives and agents harmless from any costs incurred in connection with such medical attention or any related claims. This Liability Release may only be revoked in a writing that is signed by both myself and the Director of SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool). I acknowledge that I have carefully read this Liability Release and understand its contents. 

 
I agree that this Waiver and Release of Liability shall apply to each day I or my child(ren) am at SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool) regardless of the date that this form is signed below. I agree I will assume the risk and full responsibility for any and all injuries, losses, or damages, that might occur to my child or other family members while on the premises of the campus  or participating in any off-site program or activity; and to the maximum extent of the law, I agree to waive and release any and all claims, suits, or related causes of action against SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool), their owners, officers, employees or agents for injury, loss, death, costs or other damages to me, my heirs or assigns, or third party claims, suits or related causes of action asserted against the arising from my conduct and/or my family’s conduct while participating in SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool) programs or activities. I further agree to release, indemnify, defend and hold SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool) harmless from any liability whatsoever for future claims presented by my child for any injuries, losses or damages.

By signing below I understand that SOCHH will need to adhere to whatever the protocols the Orange Country Department of Health requires of us for in person attendance.

I understand that SOCHH's campus in Mission Viejo is an open campus and the parking lot, which lays adjacent to the train track, is not gated. I understand that students are never allowed to play in the parking lot without adequate supervision. I acknowledge that there is a 5G cell tower on the property.  I acknowledge and understand that due to insurance restrictions all students 8 years of age and under must play on the gated playground for recess. All 4th-8th graders will have recess in the parking lot area under staff supervision.

 

By signing below I understand that my child(ren) may be photographed at SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool). I understand that these photographs may be used to share amongst the parents of our enrolled student in our program communications to families as well as to the general community in our social media networks and via email. With my signature below, I grant permission for my child(ren) to be photographed, or their images recorded, for print or electronic use at SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool). I understand that there will be no payment for me or for my child’s participation in this release.
