2025 FV Community Competitions - Season Starter Pack Form

Football Victoria (FV) would like to share a 2025 Season Starter Pack form for all FV affiliated Community Clubs to complete.

The purpose of this form is to gather relevant information from Clubs to deliver an efficient 2025 season. This will help Club Administrators and FV staff with communication and alleviate additional pressures added on to Club Administrators throughout the season by streamlining processes.

FV would also like to reiterate the process for certain tasks throughout the season, such as Fixture Change Requests, submitting Match Investigations and utilising the Competitions Weekend Line on match day.

Please answer all questions or as many that are applicable to the Club.

The purpose of a venue map is to assist FV with understanding the Clubs venue capacity and limitations when fixturing. 

FV Ground Marshal Vests

FV will provide Clubs with 4 complimentary FV branded Ground Marshal Vests for appointed Ground Marshals to wear at competitition fixtures.

Along with that, Clubs will also receive 2 physical copies of the Ground Marshal Handbook.

Spectator Code of Behaviour

FV will provide Clubs with 2 complimentary physical copies of our Spectator Code of Behaviour to be placed around your venue(s).

Match Investigation Process

Football Victoria (FV) would like to reiterate the Match Investiation Process for season 2025.

1. The Match Investigation MUST be submitted via the Community Match Investigation Submission Form link. Any investigations submitted through other channels (e.g. email) will not be opened by FV and the Club will be directed back to the form.
2. The Match Investigation MUST be submitted by a registered Club Official and the compelted Match Record needs to be attatched.
3. The Match Investigation MUST be submitted within seven (7) days of the fixture.

Fixture Change Request Process

Please see below the steps that are required for FV to action a fixture change request (not applicable for reasons outside of Clubs control - e.g. field is washed out, there is a fixture clash where there are not enough pitches for the games fixtured).

1. In the first instance Clubs are required to contact the opostion. Their contact details can be found on the public contact list found on the FV website, Club websites, Club Social Media channels, or via PlayFootball.
2. Once opposition approval has been obtained, send an email to competitions@footballvictoria.com.au including the wrriten agreement from both Clubs confirming the fixture change. *FV advises Clubs to have opposition approval obtained and sent through at least seven (7) days prior to the fixture. 
3. FV will send confirmation to both Clubs confirming the fixture change and have it reflected publicly via GameDay.

Dispensation Request Process

Dispensations allow Clubs to submit a request for a player(s) to be granted exemption by FV to participate in competitions that they would otherwise not be eligible to. Dispensation requests to play down in age are only granted for players to play one (1) year down from their rightful age group.

Steps:
1. Club representative submits the dispensation request via the online 2025 Community Competitions Dispensation Request Form for the relevant player.

2. FV dispensation committee review the dispensation request.

3. Outcome of the dispensation request sent to the Club representative.

Should a dispensation request be approved - the approval is only applicable for the competition season relevant to the year in which the request is made and the provided approval letter by FV must be readily available on Match day.

Note: FV may only grant up to a maximum of three (3) player dispensations per team per age group for each Club.

Any application submitted less than 7 days prior to the scheduled fixture will not be considered for that specfic round.
