Congratulations on earning Experience Credits by participating in our Product Programs!

Experience Credits are a great way for you to do fun and exciting things - maybe even try something new!

The following are approved uses of Experience Credits for Girl Scout youth:
- Council-sponsored programs, events, activities, camps, and travel that are approved or hosted by GSNYPENN
- Troop and Service Unit-sponsored events, programs, activities, camps, and travel approved by GSNYPENN and offered through the MyGS/gsEvents portal
- Programs, events, activities, camps, and travel offered by sister councils through the MyGS/gsEvents portal at the discretion of GSNYPENN
- GSNYPENN Store merchandise
- Girl Scout memberships, including your graduating Girl Scout's lifetime membership
Please keep in mind that Experience Credits:
- Cannot be transferred to another youth or adult
- Do not have a cash value
- Must be used by November 1, 2026 (for credits earned during the 2025 Treats, Reads & More and 2026 Cookie Program)

Important Information About Expiration & Cancellations
- Using Credits for Future Events: Experience Credits may be applied toward events that take place after the November 1 expiration date, as long as the registration is completed before the expiration.
- Caregiver Cancellations: If council Experience Credits are used as payment and the participant subsequently cancels their registration in accordance with the cancellation policy, the refunded amount will be returned as Experience Credits only. Refunded Experience Credits will retain the same expiration date as the original credits used.
- Event Cancellations by council: If an event is canceled by GSNYPENN after November 1, families will have 60 days from the cancellation date to reapply any value of expired Experience Credits toward another eligible experience or GSNYPENN retail purchase.
