FOSTER APPLICATION
Fosters must be 21 years of age or older. Cuddle Babies Rescue will provide everything you need as a foster. We will also teach you how to administer and document medications given. We need responsible people who are willing to learn and make the safety and health of the foster dog a priority. Due to our workload at the rescue, we need fosters who work well with others, are flexible, and are TEAM PLAYERS.

IMPORTANT! Please read carefully. To be a foster, you must be able and willing to do the following. By checking each item, you understand and agree.
Drive dog to the rescue for vaccinations and medical care if and when needed.
Foster will contact Cuddle Babies immediately if the pet shows any signs of illness, such as vomiting, diarrhea, not eating or drinking and any injuries.
Document medications given such as wormer, antibiotics, probiotics. We will provide a documentation sheet.
Drive dog to vet appointments. Only Cuddle Babies staff can make the appointment. Cuddle Babies will pay for visit.
Drive to the rescue for supplies that you need.
Socialize and play with the dog. Take the dogs for walks, rides in the car,...
Puppies CANNOT go outside until a puppy has had 2 vaccinations and has been given permission by Cuddle Babies. Parvo is deadly and can be anywhere.
Absolutely no fleas or ticks!
Worm pets on the schedule given to you. A dog cannot transport or be adopted out if they check positive for parasites.
Will allow Cuddle Babies to do home visits.
Check all that apply. Note: Our dogs are not usually housetrained. Adult dogs are usually easy to train. We will teach you how to crate train properly.
A mother dog and litter.
A litter of puppies that have been weaned.
Bottle fed puppies. This requires feedings every 2 to 4 hours, depending on the age of the puppy.
An older puppy or adult dog awaiting transport to a northern rescue. Our northern partners require a least 2 week foster period.
Small adult dog.
Medium/large adult dog. Fosters for these are in high demand.
Adult dog undergoing heartworm treatment.

Do you have a fully fenced yard? This is not necessarily a requirement for fostering. We approve fosters on a case by case basis, depending on the need of the animal fostered.

1. If you foster a dog/puppy that requires access to the outdoors and you do not have a fenced yard, do you agree to use a leash to protect the dog from harm? Please type "I agree".

3. Any pet fostered by you is the property of Cuddle Babies Animal Rescue (CBAR) and any treatment or medical services must be authorized by CBAR. Only CBAR can adopt out any pets you foster for CBAR.
