In December 2023 World Netball (WN) has launched the Rules of Netball 2024 Edition, along with free educational rules resources.
The new rules came into play for all matches on the 1st January 2024.

EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES
To ensure that all members of the Netball Family are educated on the new rules of netball, WN, in collaboration with NetFit, have created educational resources, including videos and PDFs, detailing these changes.

I hereby declare and advise Wyndham Netball Association (WNA) that I will be providing my services to WNA as a hobby and on a casual basis as an umpire.

Any remuneration payable to me for this service should not be regarded as subject to PAYG Withholding Tax deductions.

I also advise that I am not a registered GST Supplier, therefore GST is not applicable to any remuneration payable to me for providing this service.

I agree to advise Wyndham Netball Association immediately if there are any changes to my details or to this arrangement.

NOTE: Wyndham Netball Association recommends you seek professional taxation advice from an accountant or financial advisor before completing this declaration. Wyndham Netball Association does not accept responsibility for any penalties or liabilities that the Australian Taxation Office may deem payable by you on this remuneration.

As New Rules have come into effect all umpires should purchase a copy of the new Rules of Netball 2024 edition. You can purchase from Netball Australia however they will charge a postage fee of $9.95 on top of your rule book purchase.
