A Community Candidate
• Has genuine local links and local involvement, and is committed to the LocalFocus concept, based on relationships and collaboration establishing a groundswell of popular support for local control of political decisions including crime prevention.• Is willing to speak strongly on behalf of local interests when elected to Federal, State or Local Government• Respects frontline protectors of the community including medical professionals, police, teachers, emergency services personnel and professional drivers; and may be one of them• Listens to the locals and promotes policies which minimise local poverty and distress, and maximise local health, harmony and happiness• Supports the concept of local control of public institutions. A primary example is a local hospital run by a locally elected Board of Management. Other examples include locally run schools, kindergartens, aged care facilities, libraries, community centres and prisons. To the greatest possible extent, environmental decisions should be made locally, by locals.• Will never be bribed, cajoled, nor influenced in any way by Big Pharma, Big Business or Big Bureaucracy• Rejects all external influences by unelected elitists, including the World Health Organisation, the World Economic Forum and the Global Warming Cult• If a member of a political party, owes loyalty and allegiance to the local community and will never do the bidding of factional bosses or lobbyists• Proudly possesses and unhesitatingly displays an ethical commitment to upholding human life and human liberty• Opposes all forms of corruption, coercion and exploitation.• If in business, endeavours to engage local staff, local contractors and local suppliers• Upholds the Australian Constitution, and is wary of judicial activism which allows the Federal Government improperly to exercise powers correctly reserved to the States• Will support the right of citizens in any area to initiate a referendum and have a vote about creation of a new State• By word and deed, demonstrates commitment to the principle that management and control of all humanitarian and philanthropic activity must be as close as possible to the intended beneficiaries• Understands that peace, prosperity and progress at the local level is the foundation of a nation where security and unity prevail• Promotes the safety, education and prospects of all children• While not necessarily a churchgoer, respects the founding Judeo-Christian faith of this country, and maintains the right of Australia to exclude immigrants who do not share that respect.• Is willing to speak purposefully for those who cannot speak for themselves• Knows that farmers, the environment and food are more important than wind and solar factories and transmission lines• Upholds the right of a primary producer to breed, nurture and sell (in Australia or abroad) edible animals and other primary products.• Trusts the knowledge and evidence-based opinions of genuine, uncorrupted scientists who honestly assert that there is no climate crisis.• Stands against all forms of authoritarianism• Is aware of the current upsurge of community politics in Canada, where direct local control over candidate selection has transformed the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) into an effective and purposeful organisation, focused on removing the Trudeau regime• Has genuine commercial experience in a productive, competitive field. A lifetime of dependence on the pubic purse often brings little to the table other than advocacy for more people to be dependent on the government.• As a candidate, is willing to sign a contract with the voters of the electorate contested.• When running for office, allocates preferences firstly to other like-minded community candidates, then to Liberal/National candidates, then to Labor candidates, and last of all to the Greens and their surrogates
Great decision to be a Local Rep, thank you! The role of Local Rep is immensely rewarding. Each Local Rep is uniquely able to listen, learn and build trust. The Local Rep transforms neighbours into friends and allies. Through the neighbourly relationships they create, Local Reps win over many voters including postal voters and pre-poll voters. Your local leadership on your patch helps earn victory, street by street, for genuine local representatives, in Local Government, in State or Territory Government, and in the Federal Parliament.
