Grow at Clark Gardens 2024 is excited to be expanding learning opportunities to our community youth, by offering an entrepreneurial opportunity in the most classic of ways . . . a LEMONADE STAND!

The goal is for the participants, children 8 to 15 years of age, to be able to start learning the skills and tasks it takes to start and operate a successful business - from the prep work of how to decorate the stand to the end result of counting the profits.

On March 30th, as part of Grow at Clark Gardens Easter Family Fun Day 4 lemonade stands are available to be reserved, so make sure to submit Clark Gardens Lemonade Stand Form along with the one-time vendor fee of $25 to secure a stand.
Provided: Clark Gardens will provide each lemonade stand with 8-ounce cups, one 8-foot table, 2 chairs, and a trash can with trash bag liners. Any additional supplies needed the lemonade stand operator is responsible for providing. Clark Gardens will allow up to 4 youth and 2 supervising adults free admissions, on 3/30, to manage their lemonade stand.*

Required: ·At least one form of lemonade must be offered for sale at the stand. ·Each lemonade stand must have a supervising adult. ·Each lemonade stand is responsible for their own sales (money bags, credit card processors, etc.). Yes, each stand may set their own prices. ·Stands must remain open from 10:00am to 4:00pm. ·Full menu along with prices is due to Clark Gardens two weeks prior, March 15. ·Full list of those working the stand is due to Clark Gardens one week prior, March 22nd.*
Setup/Breakdown: Clark Gardens will designate the exact location of each lemonade stand. These locations will not be assigned until the morning of March 30th. Setup may begin as early as 8:00am and must be completed by 9:55am. A wagon for loading and unloading is advised, as the garden cannot bedriven through as it is walking paths only. Keep in mind we are an outdoor venue. Pop up tents are welcome (keep in mind how to secure these items, so not to blow in the wind).Tear down is to be completed within 1 hour, 4:00-5:00pm.*
Things to note: ·Clark Gardens and its affiliates have permission to use any photos taken. · No food can be sold at the lemonade stand. · Additional beverage options could be offered. Examples tea, limeade, Kool-Aid. · Clark Gardens does sale ice through our gift shop if the lemonade stand would like to consider purchasing it through us for convenience. The cost is $2 plus tax per 5lb bag. There will be many family-friendly activities going on during March 30th’s Easter Family Fun Day. Some of the activities include a BBQ cookoff, car & motorcycle show, Easter egg hunt, live music, and more. Find additional details on Clark Gardens website and social media.*
