Camp Mathnasium 2024 @ Chanhassen

Join the engaging and exciting Camp Mathnasium. With different themes per week, each camp is filled with goal-driven activities that make math relevant to your child and part of their summer fun! Each student will also be assessed on math skills to be able to receive personalized learning.

Camp Hours:

Monday to Thursday 1-4pm (except 6/19 and 7/4).

Grades:

Best suited for students entering Grade 1 to 6

Snacks: Students are free to bring their own snack. We will provide water and maybe a snack as well.

Mathnasium Materials: At Mathnasium, our emphasis is on the student’s long–term mathematical development. This means that a significant amount of time will be spent using our materials to help students develop the skills necessary for ongoing success in the mathematics classroom. The work selected by the Center Director is intended to help students achieve the best results for each session. We are always available to discuss your child’s learning plan and Mathnasium materials.*

Courtesy to Peers: Please be respectful of other students. If your child is sick, please be considerate to the other parents and children by waiting until they recover before bringing them to Mathnasium. We ask students to finish meals before entering Mathnasium, but we do permit snacks.*

Cell Phones/Electronic Device Policy: In order for each student to get the best mathematical development from our program, we ask that students do not use their cell phones or any other electronic devices during their visit. Students are permitted to carry their cell phones, but they should not have them out at any time unless contacting their parents or guardian.*

Student Pick-Up Policy: We are asking for your cooperation in escorting your child to and from the Center for safety reasons. Students must be picked up by a designated parent/guardian immediately upon completion of their session (please allow 3 hours per session). Our goal is to ensure student safety, but also a smooth class flow and to eliminate overcrowding in both the classroom and parking lot area.*

Media release: I authorize Mathnasium Center Licensing LLC and its affiliates, successors, assigns, agents, franchisees and designees (collectively, “Mathnasium”) to photograph, video, or otherwise record me and Minor, to edit photographs, videos, and/or sound recordings taken by Mathnasium or the Mathnasium Center that Minor attends (“Recordings”) as Mathnasium may desire, and incorporate such Recordings into materials, including but not limited to training materials, social media, and promotional and advertising materials and web content (collectively, “Materials”). Mathnasium will not identify Minor by name without prior written consent. I waive any right that I may have to inspect or approve the Materials. Mathnasium shall own all right, title and interest, including the copyright, in and to the Materials. Mathnasium may use the Materials, any portions thereof, and the Recordings in all markets, manner, formats and media, whether now known or hereafter developed, throughout the world, in perpetuity. I understand that there will be no financial or other remuneration for either my or Minor’s appearance in the Materials. I agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Mathnasium from claims arising from or relating to the use of the Recordings of myself or Minor and hereby waive, release, and discharge any claim I may have against Mathnasium arising from the use of the Recordings of myself or Minor. I am at least 18 years of age, have the right to grant all of the rights and authorizations herein, and am competent to execute this agreement. I represent, for myself and as the legal parent or guardian of Minor, that I have read and understand the foregoing statements and that we shall both be bound by the terms of this Release.*
