Thank you for your interest in our batik workshop. This workshop is suitable for adults and children 8 years & above. For 8 years & below, refer to workshop C.

Workshop Experience:

No drawing skill is required, design template will be provided.

Workshop Options:

Workshop A ($90 - 3hrs)

Full batik making experience

You may choose 1 material to work on:

*Tote bag is not washable
Plate & Serveboards are food safe & washable

Workshop B ($55 - 2hrs)

Full batik making experience on mahogany coaster (10 x 15cm)

Workshop C Parent & Child (8 y/o & below)

1-1.5hrs

$40/child (1 coaster)

$70/parent & child (2 coasters)

Batik dyeing on PRE-WAXED mahogany coaster (10 x 15cm). No design drawing, no wax application process. Design selection is first come first served on the workshop day.

You and your child will get to experiment with color mixing, have fun with applying dyes, learn how to remove batik wax and apply final coating.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

This workshop will take place if we have minimum sign ups, we will give confirmation latest by 1 week before the workshop date.
Full payment to be made after form submission to secure your slot.
In the event of urgent cancellation by organizer, full amount will be refunded.
In the event of urgent cancellation by participants, full amount will be kept as credits for future workshop (to be used within 3 months from the original date).

Consent of Photography

By participating in the workshop, you grant Makers Guild and authorised third parties the right and permission to photograph and record you during the session.
Makers Guild may use the photographs and recordings, including any reproductions or adaptations thereof, for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes, both online and offline.
Photos taken during the session will be shared with you.
