To the fullest extent permitted by law:
•any liability for any loss, death, injury or damage which you may suffer (directly or indirectly) in connection with or arising out of your participation in the workshop event, or any breach of the booking condition, is excluded;
•you release us and our representatives from any liability and expressly waive any claims you may have against us arising out of or in connection with your participation in the workshop, and
•any condition or warranty which would otherwise be implied by law into these booking conditions (implied warranty), is excluded.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
If your workshop is canceled or the itinerary is altered due to restrictions, policies, weather, transportation delays, government intervention, sickness or other contingency for which we cannot make provision, the cost of delays or changes is not included. We reserve the right to cancel an itinerary before departure for any reason including too few participants or logistical problems such as strikes, military actions, acts of nature or any other circumstances which may make operation of the trip inadvisable.
Participant Cancellations
IMPORTANT: No refunds will be issued unless a waiver and registration form (see left side) has been submitted. Deposits are non-refundable, however, a credit can be issued for a future workshop. Cancellations must be made by participant in writing and confirmed by Amanda Schroer mansch@mac.com no later than May 1, 2024.
Cancellations made in writing and confirmed by Amanda Schroer by May 1, 2024 will receive a 100% refund (minus deposit). Cancellations made in writing and confirmed by Amanda Schroer by June 15, 2024 will receive a 50% refund. After June 15 no refunds will be made. Please note that we are a small business and our small class sizes depend heavily on every participant for the workshop to run successfully. When one person drops out it affects our costs drastically. We hope you understand.
Important note
Trip cancellation and/or insurance is highly advised.
Additionally, do not buy your plane ticket until you have been told the class will run (May 1). We must have a minimum of six participants for the class to run. If you buy a ticket before being notified to do so you will be responsible for any lost costs.
In Case of Emergency
In the event of illness or accident, you understand that we will make every effort to contact the person listed under Emergency Contact, but you give your permission for emergency medical treatment as required if such notification is impossible or impractical under the circumstances. You understand that we will make every effort to minimize the risks inherent, but that we cannot guarantee against circumstances over which it has little or no control.
Photography
The participant herby provides his/her express consent and authorization, at its sole discretion, for its advertising, promotion and marketing purposes, any photographs taken of the participant during his/her participation in the activities.
Agreement
You agree that upon advancement of deposit, completed registration form, and Covid-19 waiver form that you will be bound to the terms and conditions recited on the registration page. You understand that if you should not be able to complete the course for any reason, that we are not obliged to make any refunds for any unused services, and that trip cancellation and travel insurance is strongly advised.
You must sign and submit this waiver acknowledging that you have read and agreed to the conditions set forth in this waiver as part of your registration and you will not be considered registered until this is completed.
We reserve the right to amend these policies at our discretion. If an amendment occurs between your booking and your printmaking course, we will notify you of changes via email.
