    Please be prepared to pay the application fee to TransUnion Smart Move directly. You will receive this invitation shortly following your application.

    You must provide a copy of a valid form of photo identification

    You must provide verifiable proof of income - 2 recent bank statements / paycheck stubs.
    - If you cannot prove your income, you may be required to have a local qualified co-signer.
    You must provide 5 years of residential history as well as contact info for Manager/Landlord.

    Applicants' combined gross income must be three (3) times or more the monthly rent amount.
    - If you cannot prove your income, you may be required to have a local qualified co-signer.

    ALL adult occupants living with you must complete an application.

    Application Fee is per applicant to cover the cost of processing of your application and is NOT a fee for a "Credit Report."

    AKG's Application Procedures are Simple and Fair. 
    - Applications are processed in the order received via date/time stamp on your application.
    - If an application submitted before yours is approved, you will be contacted and your application fee may be refunded, you may apply for another home or get pre-approved for the next available home fitting your search criteria.

    Once your application is being processed, your application fee is non-refundable.
    - Applications will be processed during business hours.
    - Our office will contact you via text messaging or email.

    NOTE: if you are on Section 8 or Housing Choice Voucher program, you may deduct your subsidy from your 3 times the rent income requirement.

  • No Social Security Number Required

    You will be sent an invitation from TransUnion SmartMove, the company that performs the background checks. They will collect your social security number and your payment for the background check directly.

  • What Kind Of Animals Do You Have?

    AKG company is very animal friendly; however laws and insurance have caused the creation of your animal application.

    Each animal must submit this Section 10 as your animal application as part of your Rental Application and each animal must be listed in your Renter's Insurance Policy.

    • Animal weight limit is 30 lbs., (if young, your vet's opinion of full grown weight will be used.)
    • Each animal must be appear in person (animal) to be photographed and weighed and this animal application shall become part of your Rental Agreement.
    • No animal on the CDC and Insurance Company list of dangerous animal species are allowed
      Our insurance company does not allow dangerous animal species.
    • ADA Service Animals are allowed provided they are not on the list of dangerous animal species/breed..
