General Terms and Conditions
A psychological treatment / counselling / healing application / Kambô treatment is agreed.
The aim is, for example, to strengthen or activate inner resources to improve the patient's physical, mental and emotional well-being, to strengthen the patient's self-esteem, but also to provide solution-orientated help with individual problems.
The patient is aware that no guarantee can be given for the success of the treatment/counselling, as an essential success factor is based on the subjectivity and individuality of the patient.
The psychologist and Kambô practitioner Marisa Lattka guarantees confidentiality and discretion. The disclosure of information to service providers or family members requires the patient's release from confidentiality.
50€ deposit is required for booking a Kambô treatment. if it is not possible for you to attend the appointment, you will forfeit the deposit. For online sessions, you must cancel at least 2 days in advance. In the event of non-compliance of an online session, the full fee will be charged.
Any risks to the patient from existing seizure disorders, serious cardiovascular diseases or mental illnesses and other health conditions have been clarified, the patient has been informed and releases the therapist from responsibility by signing the form.
EXEMPTION FROM LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Disclaimer: Kambo is the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog. Traditionally, Kambo is used by indigenous peoples of the upper Amazon region to lift Panema (dark or negative energy) and to chase "magic". Your Kambo practitioner Marisa Lattka was trained by the International Association for Kambô-practitioners. Your preceptor is not in the medical field and does not diagnose or prescribe medication for any conditions, nor does she diagnose, treat or cure any severe conditions. The Kambo treatment should not be used as a substitute for medical care and advice from your doctor.
In consideration for participating in Kambo Treatment, I agree to the following:
I have fully and accurately completed and read a Confidential Participant Information Form and fully disclose my current and past medical and psychiatric conditions, including prescription drug use and recreational drug and alcohol use. I certify that I do not suffer from any unknown physical or mental condition and have not chosen to discontinue prescribed medication in order to participate in this Kambo treatment without consulting my physician. I understand that the following conditions do not apply to receiving Kambo and that use of Kambo for the written contraindications may result in serious medical problems, mental health problems or death.
You have clearly acknowledged that the use of Kambo will cause permanent scars and possibly pigmentation on the skin! I acknowledge that in a few cases of previous damage, such as see contraindication, vomiting may cause injury to the oesophagus.
I hereby confirm that I will neither eat nor drink before the Kambô ceremony.
In the case of long-term treatment, the patient undertakes to inform Marisa Lattka about any changes in the state of health that are relevant to the treatments. The agreements apply to all subsequent treatments.
