  • Municipal Agriculture & Forestry Community Survey *For Farmers and Woodlot Owners*

    Supporting Our Farmers and Foresters
  • Food production and wood harvesting are primary concerns in rural New Brunswick. Your municipal government wants to better understand and support people in these industries and is therefore conducting this survey to gather information.

Thank you for taking the time to participate in this survey. Your responses are valuable to the Arcadia Agriculture & Forestry working group which includes farmers, woodlot owners, farmer’s market vendors, other business owners, and is Chaired by Paul Mennier, Arcadia Ward 2 Councillor. This study relates to activities within or very close to Arcadia.

This survey is meant to identify:

    • characteristics of our farming and forestry communities
    • issues needing immediate attention and barriers to success
    • greatest opportunities for growth, success and employment
    • information needed to build a strategy and action plan (including applications for provincial, federal and private funding opportuntities for community-led projects)

All questions are optional, answer any questions you believe apply to your household/business. Your name and address are not being collected. All replies will be confidential. To learn how the responses will be collected, analysed and stored, contact Danielle at 260-7347 or Paul at 999-5799.

If you would like to complete this survey over the phone or in person please contact Danielle.

Surveys should be completed online or returned by mail by April 15, 2024.
