Avoid the following during
the 48 hours prior to your appointment:
• Caffeine
• Alcohol
• Advil, ibuprofen, Aspirin, etc…
• Vitamin E
• Fish oil
• Niacin
These are all blood thinners. You must avoid these because the thinner your blood means the more bleeding/discomfort/irritation you will experience. Blood mixing with the pigment can lead to poor/altered color retention.
Avoid the following during the 4 weeks prior to your appointment:
• Botox
• Fillers
• Waxing or tinting
• Skin products including vitamin A, glycolic acids, any type of retinol, AHAs or BHAs
