Godparents
Godparents are persons who themselves have been baptized, confirmed, and receive the Eucharist. They are active, participating members of the Catholic Church, willing and able to share their faith with the child. Godparents must be at least 16 years old. You may choose a practicing Christian of another faith to serve as a witness at the ceremony, but you must choose at least one Catholic Godparent. If you choose two Godparents/Witnesses, one must be male and one female.

I give IHM permission to use pictures of the baptism in the bulletin and on social media.
If this is your first child baptized at IHM you will be required to complete Belonging: Baptism in the Family of God by Ascension Press course online before meeting with Mary Brown, our Coordinator of Faith Formation.

Baptism Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 6:30pm to 7:30pm or the 3rd Sunday of every month from 12:15pm to 1:15pm.
