The New Years Day Twerk Off is a three round competion being held at Roxy Showgirls Toledo [5765 Telegraph Road] on Wednesday January 1st. Doors open at 7 and the event will begin at approximately 10PM. Preformers can arrive as early as 7PM but NO LATER THAN 9PM (subject to disqualification unless otherwise approved by Cyrus Moore if late... that means call me, message me, let me know you're still coming).
There will be 3 main prizes determined by a panel of judges. Top Prize will include $500 cash as well as a winners gift package. Secondary prizes for Second Place and Best Ass will include $200 cash each as well as a winners gift package. The crowd will be determining the winner of "Best Ass" through a ticket voting system. All entries into the event come with one complimentary vote. Additional votes will be available for purchase at the door and could ass additional prize money for best ass.
Round 1 Group Round
randomly selected groups (app 4-6 depending on number of contestants) will preform 1 song to try to stand out to the judging panel. After all groups have gone up, judges will deliberate and choose 12 contestants to move on to Round 2
Round 2 Sudden Death Round
The remaining 12 contestants will battle head to head (randomly selected) for 1 song where the crowd will decide who moves on to the finals. Which ever stage has the most money and crowd love will move on.
Round 3 The Final Round
The final 6 contestants will get their own song (you get to choose this one!) to preform for the judges to score. Scores will be based upon the following categories: Wavey-ness, Bounce, flexibility, creativity, and crowd interaction (how much the audience loves you).
Use of the pole not required for this competition , please do not attempt any skills or tricks that may cause injury.
A contract to preform at Roxy Showgirls is required to compete. I suggest coming in to fill the required paperwork out on a prior date to avoid any delays on the day of the event.
