Dear Artisan,
We are so excited to bring our annual Squash and Gobble event back on September 21st in historic downtown Greenville. In years past, there have been 150+ artisan booths to line the square and festival attendees filled the streets. There is no cost to the general public to attend and enjoy the festival and the children’s activities are also free. This year Squash and Gobble will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 9:00 am-4:00 pm CST.
This online application process allows us to diligently sort through vendor and artisan requests. We appreciate you filling out all required components.
Application Dates & Booth Fees:
- The deadline to apply for a booth is JULY 14th. Applications will close on JULY 14th. You will be notified no later than 10 days after applications are closed, if we feel you are a good fit for our show. Please check your email and spam folders, just in case.
- Booth fees are $40 per 10x10 space. (Maximum of 2 spaces per artist.) All food vendors are required to obtain a license from the City of Greenville and there is a $50 set-up fee for the event. For those accepted, booth fees are due no later than August 1st.
- If you are selected as a vendor, you will receive an email with a link to submit the $40 fee per each 10x10 booth space(s) or $50 fee, if you are a food vendor.
- The booth fee is non-refundable unless we are notified of your cancellation by AUGUST 11th.
Artisans are accepted based upon the quality of product. We are proud to exclusively host artisans who specialize in handcrafted products and wares such as pottery, oil/acrylic/watercolor painting, jewelry, stained glass, soaps, candles, furniture, blown glass, photography, silversmithing, basket weavings, quilting, brooms, etc…
For artisans who need access to electricity, we do have several booth locations around the venue that are easily connected to single 110-watt power outlets. Power needs should be outlined in the online application, and while there are no guarantees, every effort is made to accommodate these requests.
Due to the high attention to detail and an organized approach, we believe you will find Squash and Gobble to be a user-friendly event. Each accepted artisan will be assigned a booth number and emailed a map outlining the location of their booth space(s). On event day, booth spaces will be identified with their assigned numbers and space allowances. There are always several event volunteers present to roll out the red carpet to welcome, direct and help artisans onboard.
