Texas Small Business Artisan Market: Policies, Rules, and Regulations
Set-Up Time
Set-up begins as early as 1:30 p.m. on the event day.
All booths must be set up and ready by 3:00 p.m. and remain open until 8:00 p.m., unless otherwise stated by the event promoter.
Vehicle Rules
All vehicles must be moved away from the event area after set-up and for the duration of the event.
After 2:30 p.m., no vehicles will be allowed to drive through the event area until breakdown begins.
Vendor Limit Per Brand
Only one vendor per brand or item is allowed (e.g., one Scentsy, one Pink Zebra).
A maximum of two vendors may be allowed per category (e.g., one children’s wear, one tutu/specialty item, etc.).
Boutique wear is an exception to this rule.
Booth Standards
Booths must be in good taste. Any distasteful or disrespectful displays will be asked to remove such items or leave the event.
Prohibited items: loaded firearms, fireworks, pets, illegal substances, or items not listed on the application.
No garage sale items, please.
Liability
The Texas Small Business Artisan Market and affiliates take no responsibility for sales tax, cash handling, or vendor item security.
Vendors show at their own risk and are responsible for the security of their items.
Cleanliness
Vendors are responsible for keeping their areas clean and free of trash.
Vendors who do not remove trash and signage will be charged an additional $10.00 on their next application fee.
Equipment
Vendors must provide their own tables, canopies, signs, chairs, weights, and lights.
Battery-operated or personal generator lights are required as electricity cannot be guaranteed for every vendor.
Application Process
Incomplete applications will not be processed.
No refunds are offered, including for adverse weather conditions, though fees can be rolled over to the next show.
No-Shows
No-show vendors will not be prioritized for future events unless an exception is made by the show promoter.
Vendors at Risk
The Texas Small Business Artisan Market is not responsible for lost or stolen items, or injuries to vendors or their supplies/equipment.
Vendors are showing at their own risk and agree to this by signing the application.
Failure to Appear
If exceptions are made for you and you fail to show, you will be removed from the approved vendor list.
Smoking & Vaping
Please refrain from smoking or vaping while our guests are at your booth.
Emergency Departures
If you have an emergency and need to leave, notify a promoter. Vendors who leave without notification will not be invited back.
Space Guidelines
Vendor space is outdoors. Spaces are not measured or taped.
Vendors must work cooperatively with each other on spacing.
Aggressive takeover of larger spaces is not allowed.
If you need two spaces, specify this on your application (fees apply).
Show Updates
Updates will be emailed to the address provided on your application.
Space rent varies per show, including permitting, advertising, signage, parking, and vendor restroom facilities.
Uniform Set-Up
Set-up must be done according to the show promoter
A representative will be on-site to assist with any set-up issues.
Personal engagement with visitors is encouraged for better sales.
