Completing this form is the first step toward attending 2024 Summer Camp at St. Dorothy's Rest. You may register up to 4 family members with this form. A $100-$200 deposit will be due for each session / member of your family. Note: this is NOT an intake form, and you will not be asked for camper health history, immunizations, or full balance payment at this time. 2024 Camp St. Dorothy's Sessions & Pricing

Please read carefully. You will be asked to select the desired camp session(s) for all registered campers on the following pages. You may also view all information regarding dates, descriptions, and camp pricing at www.stdorothysrest.org/camp.
Pricing and information for all 2024 Camp sessions are listed below. Upon completion of this initial registration, you will only be charged a deposit for total number of selected sessions. A $100 nonrefundable deposit is due for all single session registrations.

While these deposits cannot be refunded, we understand life happens. If your plans change, please contact our office immediately, and we can apply a deposit balance to any other 2024 summer camp session.

Tiered Pricing at St. Dorothy's Rest

Realizing that families have different abilities to pay, St. Dorothy's Rest has instituted a voluntary three-tier fee program. It is really an honor system; you tell us what is affordable and suitable for your family. This program is voluntary and in no way influences the experience children receive, yet it offers the opportunity for families to take an active role in supporting the true cost of their child’s camp experience.

For those families who cannot afford Tier III prices, additional financial assistance is available in the form of Camperships to ensure that all children have the opportunity to experience the magic and transformation of summer camp.

Tier I more closely accounts for the true costs of camp including wear and tear of building and grounds, maintenance, marketing, office expenses, and other administrative costs. Families that choose this rate are partnering with St. Dorothy's Rest to invest in our staff and campers, and to secure the future of our facilities and programs.

Tier II is our partially subsidized fee for those who can pay a little more but still cannot afford the actual cost of camp. This rate reflects the day-to-day operating costs of camp including food, summer staff, utilities, supplies, and other operational costs.

Tier III is our historically subsidized rate and does not reflect the true cost of operating summer camp programs. This rate is subsidized by our donors and grant partners who value the impact of a quality summer camp experience. Tier III pricing is only available for camp sessions that are 5 or more days in length.

At that time, you will be asked to provide additional information such as camper health history, bunkmate and accomodation requests, emergency contact information, and more. At that time, you will also have the option to pay your remaining camp balance, enroll in a monthly payment plan, and/or apply for scholarship assistance*. Your registration will not be considered complete if you do not provide the additional information requested.
A Note Regarding Camperships in 2024
For more than a century, St. Dorothy's Rest has been committed to keeping our summer camp programs equitable and accessible to individuals from all economic backgrounds and walks of life. For many years, and with the help of generous supporters and grant providers, St. Dorothy's was fortunate enough to cover all requests in full. However, this year, in order to ensure the longevity and quality of our camp programs, and our ability to welcome as many campers as possible, we are introducing small changes to our Campership application and allocation process.

In 2024, campers and families seeking financial assistance (beyond the sliding scale payment options provided) must submit a Campership Application. All applications will be reviewed by a committee who will award funds based on expressed need, circumstances, and availability of funds. While in previous years, full subsidies were often granted to all requesting parties, families may no longer recieve 100% of funds requested, and are asked to seek additional support from their church, school, extended family, etc.

Families will be notified of awarded assistance via email.

Give the Gift of St. Dorothy's Rest
Since 1901, St. Dorothy's Rest has offered summer camp to children who have faced incredible obstacles economically or medically. One week of the summer camp season is dedicated to serving children who have had an organ transplant, who attend free of charge. Our Hospital Camp Fund supports these programs.

Additionally, any individuals facing economic hardship may request a Campership for any of our open-enrollment (non Hospital Camp) sessions. St. Dorothy's Rest does all we can to fulfill as many of these requests as possible; and no child is ever turned away due to an inability to pay.

Your deposit is the only amount that is due today. If you registered a single individual for a single session, $100 is all that is due. If you registered for multiple individuals, sessions, or a double session, a balance has been automatically calculated based on your selections. If you have added a donation to this registration, that will also be included in the total below.

You may choose to remit payment today via credit-card through Stripe, our easy and secure payment processor, or by mailing in cash or check to St. Dorothy's Rest, P.O. Box 440, Camp Meeker, CA 95419. Please note, your deposit is nonrefundable. In the event that your summer plans change, you may apply the deposit(s) to any 2024 summer camp session.

You will be notified of your remaining balance due alongside a request for additional information in follow-up correspondence within 10-15 business days of submitting this form. At that time, you may pay your balance in full, enroll in a payment plan, or request a scholarship. All balances are due in full prior to the first day of your camp session.
