      Personal Medicine Disrupts the notion

      • that medicine is only something we take, and
      • that medicine can only be prescribed by professionals

      Personal Medicine Promotes

      • Medicine is also what we DO to heal and stay well.
      • The unique personal solutions of what works lies within us all

    • What others have said about the benefits of being a CPMC.

    • Being a CPMC, gives you the vital recovery coaching skills and knowledge suited to NDIS and other psycho-social programs. There have been over 250 CPMC trained in Australia.

" I introduced Personal Medicine (PM) in my work with a client struggling with depression, lack of motivation, hallucinations and sleep disturbance. She was unhappy with previous therapists treating her like a patient and was excited to hear about how Personal Medicine would allow her to self-direct her recovery and have a voice. We worked with PM cards and Guides for her to develop her own strong Personal Medicine. Personal Medicine was a breakthrough in my work with her." - Pakistan CPMC 2021

"Personal Medicine helps ME see from a different perspective as well. My questions with clients have become more encouraging and focussed on something new we can find instead of reacting to what might've happened " - Virginia CPMC 2020.

" Personal Medicine has not only given me the language, but also the practice to increase my advocacy efforts. It has also helped me personally, not just during tough times but also as a preventive daily practice" - California CPMC 2021

    • What pre-requisite skills are required?
    • There are no formal pre-requisites required. The course is built from a strong foundation of recovery-oriented practice that upholds the belief that all people:

      1. Are the experts and know what ultimately works for themselves,

      2. Do not require fixing or activating, and

      3. Have the personal agency to enact their unique personal medicine that stems from their inner wisdom.

If you share these beliefs then you are in a good position to undertake the course no matter if you have qualifications in the helping sector or not.
