Event Agreement & Booking
The completed and signed Golf Outing Agreement form should be received by the GMGC Board within 30 days of the event date. The event will be booked once the form has been recieved and contact made with Mulligan's management. Selected alternative dates are not guaranteed but will be reviewed for potential scheduling conflicts.
Post-Event Payment
An invoice for fees may be provided upon request. Payment shall be made within 30 days of the event and payable to the City of Gowrie. Payment may be made at Gowrie City Hall, 1206 Market St. P.O. Box 168, Gowrie, IA 50543. Payment may be made by cash, check, or debit/credit card transactions.
Event Safety & Liability
Golf Carts: No more than two people and two sets of clubs per rental cart. Twelve (12) Gowrie Municipal Golf Course carts are available at the course for a cost of $200 to the tournament/outing host. If more carts are needed, it is the responsibility of the tourament/outing host to bring in more carts at their expense. The tournament/outing host shall also accept all fees from players for the rental of all carts. The event entity represented by the contract signature on the Outing Agreement remains responsible for any and all damage inurred to the carts and/or property damage while in possession of the group or players.
Weather: If playing conditions require cancellation of the event by Gowrie Municipal Golf Course, the event may be rescheduled or use of the rain date according to course availability. The tournament/outing host should be in contact with the Gowrie Municipal Golf Course if inclimate weather is possible.
Conduct: Proper conduct is expected by outing participants while on the golf course. Players should adhere to cart path rules, replace divots, repair ball marks, and rake sand traps. Unruly bahavior, foul language, golf cart abuse, club throwing, and hitting into other groups will not be tolerated. Any player that chooses not to follow these rules will be asked to leave the property.
Contests: All contests are the responsibility of the tournament/outing host. Any hole prizes and expenses incurred as part of the contests will be the responsibility of the host.
Liabilities & Damages: Gowrie Municipal Golf Course does not assume responsibility for damage to or loss of personal belongings. The tournament/outing host or undersigned company is responsible for any damage to the rental facility, golf carts, or any other part of the Gowrie Municipal Golf Course by participants and/or other agents.
Alcoholic Beverages: The Iowa Alcoholic Beverage Commission regulates the sale and service of alcoholic beverages. Gowrie Municipal Golf Course and Mulligan's does not allow anyone under the age of twenty-one (21) or anyone who appears to be intoxicated to be served.All state laws pertaining to alcohol will be enforced and a valid driver's license will be required. All alcholic beverages must be supplied and purchased through Mulligan's. Any outside alcoholic beverages that are carried on to the course property will be confiscated.
I, or on behalf of the undersigned entity, have read and understand Gowrie Municipal Golf Course policies and have agreed the group will follow all stated policies and regulations as described on the course policies and golf outing agreement. I or undersigned entity, guarantee full payment for all charges, green fees, cart rentals, and any and all other services provided by the Gowrie Municipal Golf Course and Mulligan's for the requested event.
To reserve the date and time requested, please complete all pages of the Golf Outing Agreement and mail, email, or deliver to the Gowrie Municpal Golf Course for review by the GMGC Board.
