  • Come Join us for HVCC's "Girls in STEM" event! Held on Saturday, March 23rd

    Registration begins at 8:00am, event starts at 9am and runs until 11:30am, in the Bulmer Telecommunications Center on HVCC's campus in Troy
  • Registration will be held in the Bulmer Telecommuncations Center (BTC) on HVCC's campus from 8-8:45am.

     

    Starting at 9am, students will attend a brief presentation by our Featured Speaker, Dr. Michelle Lewis, of the Albany College of Pharmacy. She will speak for approximately 15-20 minutes about her experiences and the importance of girls in STEM!

    Next, students will attend TWO Workshops. Each hands-on workshop will be 45-minutes in length.

    The first round of Workshops runs from 9:30 - 10:30 am. 

    The second round of Workshops runs from 10:30 - 11:30 am. 

     

    Parents & Others?

    An area will be provided in the BTC building with coffee, snacks, and internet access for those who wish to stay on campus for the event.

     

    The event will be capped at 200 students to maintain small workshop sizes and allow for more hands-on activities. Entries received after the 200 cap will be placed on a waiting list. Please stand by as we will try to fit in as many students as possible!
