  • Facility Rental Reservation and Agreement Form

  • Thank you for choosing the Tallahassee Museum for your rental experience. We value your support and look forward to serving you. Please complete the fields below to begin the reservation process. Please note that a reservation is not final until all the of following steps have been completed:

    1) Museum staff receives completed Reservation and Agreement form
    2) Museum staff confirms requested date is available and emails invoice to be returned with deposit paid no less than 10 business days prior to the event.
    3) Museum staff processes payment and issues an email confirmation

    Prices are listed under the "Preferred Location" dropdown menu. The prices below reflect full-day (9am-5pm) rentals. These hours include set-up and clean-up. For half-day and afterhours rentals please contact registrations@tallahasseemuseum.org.

  • The Policies and Guidelines listed below must be observed to ensure both the integrity and the proper maintenance of the Tallahassee Museum. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

    • An assessment will be made at the conclusion of the event to determine any damages. If it is determined that damage or resulting expenses are beyond normal, the facility rental client will be charged accordingly.
    • Prices listed for indoor venues include all groups up to 35 guests. Guest numbers of 36 or more will incur a $7 per person charge during normal business hours.
    • A nonrefundable 10% deposit is due 10 days prior to the event. The event is not considered booked until full payment has been made no less than 3 days prior to the event.
    • No refunds will be provided less than 48 hours prior to the start time of the event.
    • Refunds requested prior to the 48 hour deadline will be honored, less the 10% nonrefundable deposit.
    • The rental group will be responsible for all persons in the group or organization and liability for all persons in attendance.
    • The Tallahassee Museum offers catering services. Any offsite caterers must prepare food off site and have all food and beverages ready to serve. The facility rental client is responsible for food and liquor licenses. Guarantees are due 10 days prior to any Tallahassee Museum catered event.
    • Open flames and candles are prohibited except for canned warming units, which must be used through licensed caterers.
    • Decorations and methods of installation must be discussed with the Registrar prior to the scheduled event. No confetti, glitter, Mylar, or latex balloons are allowed.
    • Guests may bring their own alcohol if they provide proof of event liability insurance of no less than $1,000,000. All alcohol must be monitored by a member of the event.
    • The Tallahassee Museum reserves the right to refuse any event.
