Dear Grower,
Following on from 2024, we are again asking for the provision of valid, current LOLER certificates for the loading equipment that will be entering the field during pea operations for 2025. Annual LOLER inspections are statutory and ensure that we are going to necessary lengths to protect the safety of anyone entering the GPC operation.
For any staff, GPC or your own, to be able to operate a grower provided telehandler we must ask for a copy of a valid LOLER certificate for that machine. Any telehandler without such certification will not be permitted to operate in a GPC controlled work area. In this event alternative arrangements should be made to provide a machine that fulfils the legal requirements.
