Thank you for your interest in helping with Holiday Club this year!

(a seperate form is needed for each volunteer please).

Forms will automatically be submitted to the church office.

Our Safeguarding Officer is Ann Thurgood (safeguarding@sjyeovil.org.uk)

She will contact you individually if you need to either renew your check, complete our checks for the first time or need to update your training.

Leaders Polo Shirts

Leaders polo shirts are the same each year so if you’ve helped before and still have your polo shirt, you won’t need a new one. They cost approx. £12, and we do ask volunteers to cover this payment if they are able. Payment due at a later date.

Saturday 5th July 2025  I  2-4pm  I  Schoolrooms
(Young leaders, please attend for training and information specific to this year's holiday club and your role.)

Whole Team Briefing
Thursday 24th July 2025  I  7:30pm  I  St. John's Church
(Please can all volunteers attend, both adult & young leaders. Thank you.)

At St. John’s and St. Andrew’s we take the issue of safeguarding and our responsibilities under dataprotection regulations very seriously. This includes ensuring the appropriate use of images of adults,children, young people and vulnerable adults.

As such we require your written consent to use photographs or video of yourself and the consent of parentsor carers to use photographs or video recordings of children, young people (under 18 years old) andvulnerable adults.

Any use of images at St. John’s and St. Andrew’s is underpinned by our Safeguarding Policy. We will onlycaption with first names, if appropriate, and will not publish personal information such as addresses or othercontact details by which the person(s) in the photograph or video could be identified.

The images may appear in printed material (such as a parish magazine, newspaper, annual report) or maybe used for display purposes.

We may also circulate images to local or national media or upload them to parish/ diocesan websites andsocial media, but only with your express permission – see below.
