New Client Form (CATS) / Grooming Policies and Release

You are required to execute a New Client Form and Grooming Release Form prior to any services being performed.
Your pet is very important, and Pawsitivity would like to assure you that every effort will be made to make your pet’s grooming experience as safe and pleasant as possible. Safety comes first for everyone during the grooming process...people as well as the pets!
Pawsitivity prides itself on offering affordable, kennel-free grooming for your pet. In order to keep a stress free, safe environment for your best friend, I groom by appointment only and each pet is given a specific time based on breed and weight. Because each pet is an individual and requires a different amount of time to be completely groomed, prices will vary. A price range can be given prior to your first grooming based on the services you are requesting; however, I cannot give you a solid quote until we actually see your pet.*

I CANNOT GROOM PETS WITH FLEAS IN MY HOME. Your pet must be thoroughly checked for fleas BEFORE dropping off at the appointment. I am able to check your pet upon arrival for fleas. If any are found, I am not able to provide services until your pet is free of fleas. If you are unsure as to whether or not your pet has fleas, your pet can be checked with a flea comb prior to the appointment. If ticks are found we will remove them for no extra charge and the owner will be notified.*

It is strongly encouraged that pets be vaccinated in accordance with their veterinarian's recommendations. All pets over 4 months of age are required to provide verifiable proof of RABIES and DISTEMPER vaccines.*

Although accidents are very rare, there is a risk when dealing with pets. Grooming equipment is sharp, and although extreme caution and care are used in all situations, possible problems could occur including cuts, nicks, scratches, quicking of nails, etc. In most cases this can happen when a pet is wiggling or moving around. Any incident, no matter how small, will be communicated to the pet owner. Any veterinary bills resulting from a pet being matted, elderly, aggressive, a difficult temperament, or from a preexisting or unforeseeable condition will be the sole responsibility of the owner. Your pet’s safety and comfort is my number one priority. In the event an accident does occur, you will be notified of the accident.*

Your satisfaction is important! If you are unhappy for any reason and would like something adjusted, I will be happy to make any adjustments when you pick-up your pet from his/her appointment. Once you take your pet home from the appointment, I will only accept return visits for adjustments 24 hours after your appointment. Any adjustments after will be charged a grooming fee of some kind.*

Appointments Times and Rescheduling

In order to ensure a safe, one-on-one expreience, it is imperative that drop off and pick up times are respected. I operate out of my home and do not have the space or time for daycare services.
LATE DROP OFF APPOINTMENTS: Due to limited space and time restrictions, if you have not arrived within 20 minutes of your scheduled appointment, it will be considered a missed appointment.*

LATE PICK UP APPOINTMENTS: As soon as I can most accurately predict when your pet will be done (at least a 45 minutes heads up), I will contact you with a pick up time. Due to limited space and time restrictions, if you are 20 or more minutes late picking up your pet, a fee of $20 will be applied to your bill.*

RESCHEDULING: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide me with as much notice as possible. If less than 24 hours notice is given, a 30% deposit towards the total price of your next scheduled groom may apply.*
