We recognize that the expense involved in professional development can be significant. Therefore, USTA New England offers a variety of scholarship opportunities to help players and coaches. New this year, we are providing funding opportunities for coaches to attend our high school coaches workshop, a one-day event covering both on and off-court topics that help prepare coaches, volunteers, or anyone else interested in coaching for their upcoming spring season.
Directions:
- Must reside within the USTA New England Section.
- Submit a fully completed scholarship application form.
- Must communicate financial need and the impact.
- To be considered for a grant this form must be completed according to these directions and signed electronically.
- If you have questions, please contact Kelly Gately, USTA Coach Development Coordinator at 508-534-8476 or gately@newengland.usta.com.
Important Things to Know:
1) Applications for financial assistance will be reviewed before the start of the coaching workshop and will not be considered retroactively.
2) Criteria used to review scholarships submissions include but are not limited to: financial needs, diversity and inclusion, and passion/interest of the coach to participate in continuing education programs.
