A refund, deferral, or transfer can only be requested up to the deadlines posted below. Requests cannot be processed for an event that has already taken place.

TRANSFER TO ANOTHER PARTICIPANT
Participants may transfer their registration to another participant of their choosing for a fee.  Once a transfer request is submitted it cannot be reversed.

Fee: $40.00

How it works: Once the request is approved, the owner of the bib will receive an email with a customized registration link that includes the transfer fee that they will forward to the person they are transferring the bib to. The recipient of the new link will fill out the new registration form and pay the transfer fee.

- The owner of the registration is responsible for finding another person to transfer to.
- For the safety of all participants, participants may not give or sell their entry to anyone as a part of a non-approved transfer. Approved transfers will be processed through EventDog.com. Transaction fees cannot be refunded. Shirt size is not guaranteed for transferred registrations.

The last day to request to transfer an entry to another person online is Friday, Jan 17. It can be done in person at the expo on Saturday.

TRANSFER TO THE RELAY
Find a friend and share the distance by transferring to the relay. Each person will complete half the run course. Once a transfer request is submitted it cannot be reversed.

Fee: $40.00 + any registration price difference at the time.

- For the safety of all participants, participants may not give or sell their entry to anyone as a part of a non-approved transfer. Transaction fees cannot be refunded.

TRANSFER TO THE AUSTIN MARATHON, HALF MARATHON OR 5K Which Takes Place February 16, 2025.
Participants may transfer to the 2025 Ascension Seton Austin Marathon, Austin Half Marathon, or 5K. Once a transfer request is submitted it cannot be reversed.

Fee: $30.00 + any registration price difference at the time.

For example, if the 3m Half Registration is $89.00 and the Austin Half Marathon registration is $99.00 then the total fee for the transfer is $40.00.


TRANSFER TO THE VIRTUAL EVENT
Participants may transfer to the Virtual event and still recevie all of the cool event items. Items cannot ship to Non-US addresses.  Once a transfer request is submitted it cannot be reversed.

Fee: No fee 

TRANSFER FROM THE VIRTUAL EVENT TO IN-PERSON
Participants may transfer from the Virtual event to the in-person event before race day.   Once a transfer request is submitted it cannot be reversed.

Fee: $55.00 

DEFER ONE YEAR
If you are currently registered for the 2025 Austin International Half you may apply to defer your registration one year. 

The fee schedule is as follows:

Deferrals are not available after 11/21.

Once a deferral is submitted, the decision is final and cannot be reversed. 

REFUNDS
You can receive a 50% refund on your registration until August 14. Please note, transaction fees are non-refundable. Additionally, registrations transferred from a previous deferral are ineligible for refunds.

All registration transfers must be approved and processed through High Five Events and the Austin International Half. Anyone caught attempting to sell or transfer their race entry/bib to another person through a non-approved process will have said race entry/bib revoked, be disqualified, be removed from the race without a refund, and will be prohibited from participating in any future events owned or produced by High Five Events. Any Persons trying to participate in the event using another participant’s race entry/bib as part of a non-approved transfer will be disqualified, be removed from the race without a refund, and will be prohibited from participating in any future events owned or produced by High Five Events.
