Bride Preview (Trial) - $150

During your trial session, our skilled hairstylists will collaborate with you to understand your vision and bring it to life. From timeless updos to intricate downstyles, we're here to create the perfect hairstyle that not only complements your dress but complements your beauty.

This isn't just a trial; it's a personalized journey where we fine-tune every detail. We'll discuss textures, accessories, and any ideas you have in mind. Our goal is to ensure that on your big day, your hairstyle is as breathtaking as the moment you say 'I do.'

Booking Appointment Deposit: $100

POLICY 

To ensure your experience is as seamless as it is glamorous, please note the following details regarding travel:

Travel Fee:

A mileage fee of $2.00 per mile will be applied for events held outside our Looks By Dara beauty suite in Columbia, MD. This fee is calculated based on the distance from our suite.

For events located more than 1 hour and 30 minutes away, we kindly ask that you provide a hotel room for your stylist in addition to the travel fee. The hotel should be a minimum 4-star standard and must be approved by the stylist. The client is responsible for booking the hotel and covering any associated fees.

Parking fee:

If there is no free parking available immediately outside the venue, a parking fee will be applied. In locations where valet parking is available, the valet fee will be charged to the client. A stair fee of $50 is applicable to venues that necessitate the artists to ascend flights of stairs without access to an elevator, given the heavy equipment we carry.

Destination Wedding Hair Services Policy:

At Looks By Dara, we specialize in making your special day unforgettable by offering top-tier hairstyling services for destination weddings. To ensure a seamless and stress-free experience, we have outlined the following policies for events that take place outside the DMV area:

1. Travel Arrangements

- For weddings requiring travel outside the DMV area, all transportation costs, including round-trip flights, ground transportation (e.g., taxis, car services, etc.), and hotel accommodations for both the main stylist and an assistant, must be fully covered by the client.

- Flights for both the main stylist (Dara) and the assistant must be approved by Dara prior to booking to ensure suitable travel times and arrangements.

2. Accommodation

- The client is responsible for booking accommodations for both the main stylist and the assistant for the duration of the event, including any necessary nights before and after the wedding date.

- Accommodations must be in a safe and comfortable location, preferably at the same venue or close to the wedding/event site.

3. Assistant Requirement

- For weddings taking place outside of the DMV area, an assistant stylist is required to ensure smooth preparation and execution on the day of the event. This guarantees that all members of the bridal party are styled promptly and efficiently.

- You can book one room for the main stylist and assistant stylist.

4. Fees & Payment

- A deposit is required to secure the booking for destination weddings. This deposit will be applied toward the final balance and must be received the day of booking to confirm services.

- Final payment, including all travel expenses, must be completed 30 days prior to the wedding date to avoid cancellation of services.

- In the event of cancellations, travel expenses that have already been incurred (e.g., flights, hotels) are non-refundable.

5. Schedule

- The hairstyling schedule, including arrival times, must be discussed and approved by the stylist in advance. Flexibility with time is required, as travel may present unforeseen delays.

- Any additional services requested outside of the pre-approved schedule may be accommodated but may incur additional fees.

6. Additional Services

- Should additional members of the bridal party or guests require hairstyling services, these must be communicated in advance to ensure adequate time and resources are available.

- Additional fees may apply for extended services beyond what was initially agreed upon.

7. Insurance & Liability

- The client is responsible for ensuring travel insurance is in place for all non-refundable travel expenses. Looks By Dara is not responsible for any costs associated with delays, cancellations, or rescheduling of travel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, airline cancellations).
