Session 1 labs and lectures in June will focus on the biological and geological side. Service portion will give teams challenges on habitat restoration. Students will explore how flora is distributed depending on the geologic make-up of an area.

Session 2 labs and lectures in July will focus on chemical analysis of area and will collect data using a spectrophotometer, learn skills to understand non-point pollution, and learn how to evaluate the elements in samples. Service days will center around learning ways to keep ponds clean during the summer.
