    2026 Officer In Charge PBC, Inc 

    Scholarship Application

     

  • Founded in 2020, the Officer In Charge PBC, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports families in need, education, and other community building activities in the state of Florida.  Our mission is to provide resources for charitable, civic and direct service programs.  These include scholarships, educational assistance and partnerships with other agencies to magnify community impact. 

    Purpose: To identify high school seniors who possess a strong desire for academic advancement to a higher learing institution, exemplifies excellence, leadership, community & peer involvement, and plan on attending ANY Historical Black College University in the country for the Fall 2026-27 school year as a full-time student.

    Reward: Individuals selected from the pool of qualified applicants will be awarded a scholarship for financial assistance during the Fall 2026 academic year of $500.00 and other academic supplies.

    Qualifications: Interested candidates must meet the following criteria to qualify for this award:

    - State of Florida high school senior graduating in Spring 2026 that has applied and been admitted to any HBCU

    - GPA of at least 2.50 on a 4.00 scale;

    - Complete 2026-27 FASFA application

    - Complete a narrative of no more than 500 words, discussing the following:

    The importance of giving back and
    making a positive impact in the community.
     
    - Complete a minimum of 75 total hours of community service

    *Application must be submitted by May 1, 2026 at 11:30pm.
