  • Job Title: Direct Care Staff

    Responsibilities:
    1. Provide direct care and supervision to children in a compassionate and nurturing manner.
    2. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
    3. Assist with daily living activities, including mealtime, hygiene, and bedtime routines.
    4. Foster a positive and supportive environment for children's emotional and social development.
    5. Plan and engage children in age-appropriate recreational and educational activities.
    6. Collaborate with other staff members to create and maintain a cohesive care team.
    7. Document and communicate observations, incidents, and progress of each child.
    8. Implement and adhere to established policies and procedures for child care services.
    9. Respond to emergencies or challenging behaviors with a calm and effective approach.
    10. Build positive relationships with children, their families, and other stakeholders.

    Qualifications:
    1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in childcare is a plus.
    2. Previous experience in child care or related field.
    3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    4. Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and composure.
    5. Understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate activities.
    6. First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
    7. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
