    Terms of Service and Waivers
  • The following segments are necessary for conference attendees participating in movement workshops, attendees who may be photographed or in video segments, and attendees who will be interacting with Exhibitors and Vendors. 

     

    Please review the following sections in the attached document below:

    The document is 2 pages long and can be selected and scrolled on the right side to see content on the second page. Date and sign. If the pariticpant is less than 18 years old, the parent/guardian must also sign. The .pdf document may also be downloaded and submitted at check-in at the conference site.

  • 1. Assumption of Risk
    By signing this document, you understand that participation in dance activities involves physical movement, which carries inherent risks, including but not limited to, physical injury, strain, or soreness. You voluntarily choose to participate in the HBCUADD Dance Conference and assume all risks associated with my participation.


    2. Medical Fitness
    You confirm that you are physically fit and able to participate in the dance conference activities. You do not have any medical conditions that may limit my participation.

    3. Conduct
    You agree to follow all event rules and instructions provided by the organizers. You  understand that failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund or liability.

     

    4. Vendors and Sponsors

    The National HBCU Auxiliary and Dance Directors' Association (HBCUADD) aims to choose Exhibitors and Vendors who represent our mission and objectives. HBCUADD executes due diligence in the effort to choose exhibitors and vendors of the highest quality for our attendees. Knowing this, it remains the responsibility of the conference attendee to properly vet any service or product offered by our exhibitors and vendors. HBCUADD is not responsible or liable for services or products obtained as a result of attendance at the HBCUADD conference that do not meet established, or expected standards.
