  • To Whom It May Concern,

Double Down Productions would like to invite you to take part in our 2nd annual Invitational Horse Sale August 22rd - 24th, 2025 in Ontario, Or.

Having a top performance horse sale in the Treasure Valley has been a dream of mine for many years. I have always had a passion for handy horsemen and women, quality horses, and making money while doing what we love. Last year we finally got to make that dream come true.

In 2024 the riding horses averaged $15,729, with the highseller selling for $28,500. Our select breeders section averaged $5244, with the high seller selling for $8,750. We were very pleased with these numbers for our first year and plan on 2025 being bigger and better!

The sale will consist of approximately 40 head of riding performance horses. We are gearing the sale towards rope horses, cow horses, and barrel horses both finished and prospects. Along with up to 10 head of select yearlings. This a change from last year, in 2025 the "Select Breeders" section will consist of yearlings only.

Nominations are due no later than June 15th, 2025. Confirmation emails, confirming that your horse is selected will go out July 1st. In the event your horse is not selected, your catalog fee will be refunded.

Friday night before the sale we will have a breakaway and team roping jackpot with incentives for the highest placing sale horse. Saturday morning before the preview and sale will be a 3-man team branding competition. Teams with atleast one consignor (riding a sale horse) will be given first option at entering.

Following the team branding competition we will go into the preview. Our preview will consist of roping, cow work, general riding, and barrel racing. Prior to the sale there will be a meet and great, we ask all consignors to be present with their horse, in the arena, not saddled. This an opportunity for potential buyers to get to know you and your horse.

There is no extra charge for any part of the preview. The terms, conditions, and nomination form included in this packet will have more information on the sale and preview. We plan to give everyone ample time to preview their horse in all aspects possible.

A sale is only as good as its consignors, we want to have the best consignors possible. Every consignor has been invited because we know you or of you, your horses and have seen how much you put into them. Our area is full of top hands and top horses, it is our goal to provide a professional platform to showcase their skills and finest horses while helping them make some money with it!

If you have any questions or suggestions for the sale, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are always open to suggestions. Thank you for taking the time to read our consignment letter, we hope to see you at the 2nd annual Double Down Invitational Horse Sale.

    Best Regards,
