  • Hello and thank you so much for your interest in booking in with me! Please carefully read through the following pages before continuing with your enquiry.

     If you have any of the medical issues highlighted you may not be able to be tattooed so if you have any questions or a medical condition not listed, please email me to discuss at the address below ~

    It is important you read through this information so I know you understand how the process will work and that you have everything you need before your appointment. This is also to avoid any last minute problems which may result in the loss of your deposit, cancellation or rescheduling. 

     

    The price you've been quoted and agreed upon is for the design requested. Custom designs as well as variations of flash are prepared before your appointment and I aim to email designs over the night before the appointment. A completely new design will require a reschedule with a new deposit but small changes are possible for no extra charge and will be made before your appointment.

  • You will need to bring a valid form of ID to your appointment (valid passport, driver's licence, provisional licence).

     

    I can accept either cash or bank transfer to settle the outstanding balance of your tattoo on the day. 

     

    A deposit must be made in order to confirm your booking with my admin and pre-tattoo preparations being included in the price of the requested deposit. Deposits are non-refundable within 10 days of your booking and if you need to reschedule or cancel within 10 days you'll need to pay a new deposit in order to rebook. If you have booked within less than 10 days prior to your booking your deposit will be non-refundable. If I am unable to make our appointment I can offer a full refund of your deposit or carry your deposit over to reschedule you for an alternative date.

    If you are coming to your appointment by car, free parking is available on the street highlighted by the pink dotted line below (the street parallel to the Coast Road).

  • Public Transport ~

     

    If you are travelling via public transport, there is both a Metro station (Chillingham Road) and a bus stop close to the studio. The Metro station is about a 15-20 minute walk and there is a bus stop right around the corner from our entrance. The 306 and 308 buses come direct from the central Haymarket to the studio, with the bus journey being about 10 minutes.

  • More About the Studio...

     

    Please limit yourself to bringing one person with you if you need them for support during your appointment or come alone. The studio's waiting area is small so we are unable to accommodate more than this. We also do not allow any under 18s in the studio unless they are booked in for a specific service with our piercer. 

     

    Please make sure to arrive on time (not too early) for your appointment to reduce the amount of time spent in our waiting area. If you are more than 15 minutes late you will need to rebook with a new deposit as I run to a tight schedule and often have multiple clients per day. If the studio door is locked please wait outside until myself, another artist or our piercer can open it for you.

  • Other Important Information ~

     

    ~ Shower with antibacterial soap before your appointment and keep the area being worked on clean.

     

    ~ Moisterise daily the week leading up to your tattoo. 

     

    ~ Make sure to eat at least two hours before your appointment. You are welcome to bring sugary snacks and drinks with you but we do provide these free of charge at the studio.

     

    ~ Do not drink heavily the evening before your tattoo and if possible avoid drinking completely.

     

    ~ Make sure you are dressed comfortably and are wearing appropriate clothing for the area being tattooed so I can easily apply your tattoo. I do not advise wearing light coloured clothing as this is very likely to get stained. 

     

    ~ Refrain from using any fake tan one week prior to your appointment. 

     

    ~ Do not go sunbathing or on a sunbed for at least two days before your appointment. If you have sunburn I cannot tattoo you.

     

    ~ I cannot tattoo you if you are pregnant or breast feeding. 

     

    ~ It is not possible to tattoo over moles and some scarring. Before booking please contact me and I can see if it is possible to tattoo over the desired area. 

     

    ~ Let me know if you are planning a holiday in the two weeks after your tattoo so I can advise you properly. 

     

    ~ Please do not organise an event straight after your tattoo as I can't control how long our appointment will last and sometimes I run over.

     

    ~ Some areas of the body are a different texture skin to the rest of your body which means that these areas may require one or more touch-ups. Touch-ups are free for the first six months after the initial appointment and then there is a charge after this period.

     

    ~ The studio has a selection of Butterluxe aftercare balms available for purchase for £3.50 each which are great for healing your tattoo. If you're interested in buying one please bring the correct change with you to your appointment.

  • Cancellation and Lateness Policy ~

     

    The deposit amount is 40% of your total tattoo price plus an additional £5 booking fee. This deposit is non-refundable within 10 days of your booking date. If you book within 10 days of your appointment this also applies. If you late-cancel or are more than 15 mins late to your appointment, you will be required to pay another deposit in order to reschedule to another day. If you fail to show up to your appointment you will be required to pay a larger deposit if you wish to book in with me again. If I am unable to make it to your appointment you will be fully refunded or your deposit can be transferred over to a new date.
