Please submit your carol, or part of your carol, as a PDF by 11.59pm on 22 September 2024. The submission must be written for SATB choir (with optional keyboard accompaniment) - see web page for full brief. If you are writing a piece with a ‘verse/chorus’ structure, we would ask that you submit music for at least one verse + chorus.

Please let us know the nature of any help you have received from parents, teachers or anyone else
You are welcome to ask for help from a teacher, friend, family member or anyone else when you are writing your piece - however, we ask that you let us know the nature of any help that you’ve had. This will help us work out the best kind of feedback to give you when judging your carol.
Is there anything else you'd like us to know about your piece?
Feel free to let us know anything about your piece we might not see in the score, like what inspired you to write it, how you are considering finishing the piece (if unfinished).
Please tell us about your musical experiences. Perhaps you play an instrument, sing in a choir, make songs on GarageBand or are studying music at school?
We’re not asking this question to try and catch you out! We’d love to hear about what kinds of music you enjoy listening to and taking part in to help us give you feedback which will be relevant to you and your musical experiences.
Is there anything else you'd like us to know about you?
Do you have access needs you'd like to tell us about? Or perhaps a nickname you prefer to be called? We want to make sure everyone who takes part in this competition feels comfortable and welcome, so if there's anything we should know to help this, tell us here.
