  • DUE DILIGENCE POLICY

    In accordance with recent IRS updates to rules, regulations, and compliance standards, our firm follows strict Due Diligence procedures to protect both you (the taxpayer) and our preparers.

    This means we verify all information provided, request supporting documentation when necessary, and ensure your return is prepared accurately and lawfully.


    Our goal is to help you receive every credit and deduction you qualify for — while keeping your filing 100% compliant and audit-ready.

    Documents that may be needed to prepare a valid tax filing/return

    • Last year's tax return (new clients only)
    • All statements (W2’s, 1098s, 1099s, Business Income Statements)
    • Name and address label (from government booklet or card)
  • CONSENT & LIABILITY WAIVER FORM

  • This form authorizes (“the Firm”) to collect and use your personal and financial information for the purpose of preparing, reviewing, and filing your federal and/or state income tax returns — including related services such as prior-year amendments, IRS correspondence, tax planning, and resolution assistance.

     

    1. TAXPAYER RESPONSIBILITIES


    By signing below, I acknowledge and agree that:

    • I have provided true, complete, and accurate information to the best of my knowledge.
    • The accuracy of my return depends entirely on the information I provide
    • I will review and approve all returns before they filed.
    • I understand that I am ultimately responsible for all information reported on my tax return, even if the Firm assists with its preparation
    • I will maintain copies of all supporting documents (such as W2s, 1099s, reciepts, mileage and bank records) for at least three (3) years as required by the IRS.

     

    2. FIRM RESPONSIBILITIES & DUE DILIGENCE

    Firm agrees to:

    • Prepare the return(s) based solely on information provided by the taxpayer
    • Perform resasonable due diligence to ensure that all information appears consistent, complete, and in compliance with IRS rules (Form 8867 standards)
    • File the return(s) electronically (e-file) upon receiving the taxpayer's review, consent, and signature.
      Protect all taxpayer information in compliance with IRS §7216 and applicable privacy laws.

    The Firm does not:

    • Audit or independently verify any information provided.
    • Gurantee any specific refund, outcome, or tax savings.
    • Accept liability for IRS penalties, interest, legal consequences that result from false, incomplete, or inaccurate information provided by the taxpayer(s).

    • Electronically file (e-file_ my return(s) where applicable
    • Collect and securely store my tax records according to IRS regulations
