Please include the time needed for decorating, as the hall will not be open until 5 minutes before your requested time.
The fee is $75 for the hall rental, and a $50 cleaning deposit is required. If the hall is left clean and all garbage placed by the front door, the $50 deposit will be returned at the discretion of the Springhill Fire Dept member supervising the rental. Paid by cash prior to or on the day of the rental or by etransfer to association@springhillfire.ca.
Confetti, rice, glitter, and sparkles as decorations or to be thrown are prohibited on the Springhill Volunteer Fire Dept property (inside and outside).
The lounge area is not included in the hall rental and is off-limits to the public.
An event that is open to the public, such as bingo, dances, etc., will require an event liability insurance policy showing Springhill Volunteer Fire Department and Springhill Volunteer Fire Department Association as additionally covered.
Smoking and/or vaping is only allowed outside in the designated area. Alcohol is not permitted.
The event may be canceled without notice due to emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances. All efforts will be made to reschedule the booking at the most convenient time.
Tables and chairs are the only items included with the hall booking. Cleaning supplies will be provided.
All laws and by-laws of the County of Cumberland and the Province of Nova Scotia will be followed, including any special permits required.
All items must be removed immediately after the event or may be subject to a $150 per day storage fee.
