    2024 BLDC Awards Dinner Nominations

  • Do you know of a person or a business that exemplifies excellence in the Butte community? Butte Local Development Corporation is now accepting nominations for awards in the following categories:

    • Business of the Year
    • Woman-Owned Business of the Year
    • Business Entrepreneur of the Year
    • Non-profit or Volunteer of the Year
    • Educator of the Year
    • Young Professional of the Year
    • Community Impact Award

    All award nominees will be considered for an award by members of a committee comprised of BLDC Board Members, and announced at our annual dinner, May 9, 2024, at Fairmont Hot Springs.

    *You do not have to nominate someone for each category to be able to submit this form.

    Nominations must be in by March 8, 2024.

  • Business of the Year

    Awarded to the Butte Business that achieved success through outstanding leadership, product innovation, statewide or national recognition, sales achievements and/or civic involvement.
  • Woman-Owned Business of the Year

    Awarded to the Woman-owned Butte business who exhibits community spirit, and has accomplished outstanding business achievements, demonstrating the significant contributions made by women-owned businesses in Butte.
  • Business Entrepreneur of the Year

    Awarded to a Butte business person for entrepreneurial achievement that demonstrates vision, a spirit of leadership, a desire to succeed, a sense of community, and strong commitment to the betterment of Butte.
  • Non-profit or Volunteer of the Year

    Awarded to a Non-profit organization or Volunteer in recognition of the crucial role they play, and services they provide, in our community and their effort to enrich every day life for Butte businesses and citizens.
  • Educator of the Year

    Awarded to the educator who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to preparing students for success in life. These nominees model best practices in teaching or administration inside and outside of the classroom, are peer role models, and demonstrate outstanding leadership and excellence in education.
  • Young Professional of the Year

    Awarded to a business professional, aged 40 or under, for outstanding professional accomplishments, engaging with peers, and embedding themselves as exceptional members of their community early in their career.
  • Community Impact Award

    Awarded to the group or individual that has moved mountains with the future success of Butte in mind. Awardee’s efforts will have made a lasting impact for the enrichment of our community, and exhibit organizational excellence and a responsibility to stakeholders.
