  • AGREEMENT OF RELEASE & WAIVER OF LIABILITY
    Explore Costa Rica — February 18–24, 2026 · Cabanga, Costa Rica

    I hereby agree to the following:

    I understand that retreat activities — including hikes, movement practices, swimming, guided excursions, and cacao tasting — are not a substitute for medical attention, diagnosis, or treatment.
    I take responsibility for listening to my body and participating at a level that feels safe and comfortable for me. If at any time I feel discomfort or pain, I will pause and notify the hosts if support is needed.
    I will inform the hosts of any medical concerns, injuries, or limitations prior to or during the retreat, as needed, to ensure my well-being.
    I understand that participation in outdoor and physical activities carries inherent risks. I acknowledge that I am choosing to participate voluntarily and assume full responsibility for my health, safety, and personal belongings.
    I release the hosts, guest facilitators, partners, and HRC Lodge from any and all liability for injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during my travel or participation in this experience.
    I understand that all payments are non-refundable. A portion may be transferred to a future retreat only if agreed upon by the hosts.
    I understand that travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect my investment in the event of unexpected travel disruptions or personal emergencies.
    I acknowledge that two group airport transfers from Liberia (LIR) will be provided on arrival day and departure day. If my flight times do not align with group shuttles, I am responsible for arranging my own transportation (recommendations will be provided).
    I understand that the itinerary may shift due to weather, safety considerations, or group needs. Adjustments will always be made with the best interest of participants in mind.
