Note: To be completed in conjunction with the Vacation/Absence Form, Council MUST be notified of all House Sitters &/or Home Exchanges.

Bylaw 33.14
For greater clarity, arrangements whereby an owner, tenant or occupant allows a strata lot to be occupied for the purpose of house sitting or home exchange are not prohibited by this bylaw. Council must be informed of the particulars including the name(s), permanent address, dates of stay, license number of vehicle and parking arrangements. If the strata lot is to be occupied for purposes of house sitting or home exchange for a period of greater than 15 days written permission must be obtained from council. House sitters or home exchangers must abide by all of the bylaws and rules, including the age bylaw, and may use the recreation centre facilities.
