  • Home based business means that you are operating some or all of your business from a home.  Homeowners insurance polcies do not cover business related claims or coverages.

    Home based businesses may impact other insurance policies you carry.  For example, some homeowners insurance policies restrict or do not allow home based businesses and could result in the cancellation of your homeowners insurance.  

    Use of personal assets in business ventures could impact coverage as well.  For example, using a personal vehicle in your business could result in claims challenges or change in coverage.

    If you have a Personal Umbrella Policy, opeating a business within the home, may impact that coverage as well.

     

  • If you have company vehicles, and currently do not have insurance to provide declaration pages, please be prepared to provide us with the Vehicle Year, Make, Model, VIN#, and driver information. 

  • It is important to include Annual Gross Revenue as this is one of the rating factors for insurance.  Please include the Estimated Revenue for the year.  If this is a new venture, include an estimate of your expected first year gross revenue.  

  • If you would like Worker's Compensation insurance, you will need to provide additional information about your employment base.  You can upload a spreadsheet or other documentation form to include EACH class of employee you have in your company, and include the headcount for each class (indicating if FT, PT, or 1099) and the total gross payroll.  On the last page of this form, you will have the opportunity to upload information.
