  • RV PARKING LOT RULES

    EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 25, 2025

    RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARKING LOT

    Use of the RV Lot:

    1. The lot is intended for use by Owners (this term includes full-time Tenants) who live in SandPointe and actively use their vehicles, and not for semi-permanent parking of unused vehicles. Therefore, parking of unlicensed vehicles will not be permitted.

    2.  Only properly registered and approved vehicles are authorized to occupy a stall in the RV Lot.

    3.   Unauthorized vehicles occupying a stall in the RV lot may be towed at the owner's expense.

Conditions for use of RV Parking Lot:

    4. All persons using the RV lot do so at their own risk. The Strata Corporation accepts no responsibility for damage to or theft of property within the RV parking area or for injury to persons using or passing through the parking area.

    5. All Owners using the RV lot must register vehicles to occupy a stall in the RV Lot by providing information on the vehicle(s) by completing the form provided.  It is the Owner’s responsibility to keep the information up to date.  Forms are to be made available in the clubhouse and are to be deposited in the council mailbox in the clubhouse once completed.

    6. A vehicle is not authorized to occupy a stall in the RV lot unless the council member responsible for the RV Lot has approved its registration.

    7. All vehicles parked in the RV lot must be insured.  A copy of proof of insurance must be attached to the information form described in (5) and kept up to date. (Ratified AGM – September 21, 2023)

    Allocation of RV Lot stalls:

    8. Any Owner can request an RV parking stall by making their request in writing to the Council. A resident is eligible for approved use of only one RV stall. If the equipment in the stall changes, the resident should notify the Council as soon as possible. The change does not affect the resident's right as an RV Lot user, but a different stall may be allocated. (Ratified AGM – September 21, 2023)

    9. If space is not immediately available, the Owner’s name will be added to a wait list prioritized by date of request.

    Rental Fees:

    10. The monthly fees for Owners to park vehicles in the RV lot is $35.00, effective October 1, 2025. (Ratified AGM – September 25, 2025)

    11. When a stall is allocated, the Owner must commence payment of the rental fee. The fee shall begin in the month of the allocation of the stall and shall be paid through to the end of the month in which the stall rental is terminated.  The strata’s management company shall collect the fee, and the Owner is responsible for making the necessary payment arrangements.

    Assignment & Reassignment of Stalls:

    12. Different stalls in the RV lot are suitable for various sizes of vehicles.  The council, therefore, reserves the right to allocate or reallocate a vehicle to be placed in the lot to accommodate the various sizes of RVs.

    13. The maximum length of a vehicle that can be accommodated in the RV lot is 32 feet.  If no stall is available for a vehicle this size, the owner will remain at the top of the wait list.

    14. If an RV Lot renter wishes to share a “sub-lease temporarily,” the Council must be notified before finalizing any such agreement. Sub-lease arrangements must prioritize the waiting list; however, a sub-lease is temporary and time limited. The resident does not forfeit his position on the waiting list by taking a sublease. Any cost sharing is strictly between the RV lot renter and the individual sub-leasing the stall. (Ratified AGM – September 21, 2023)

    Usage of Electricity:

    15. Electrical plugs may be utilized only for alarms or other low-consumption devices.

Devices: Fridges may be connected up to 48 hours before travel departure. However, high-consumption appliances, such as heating devices, are not permitted, as the circuitry will not handle the load.
