Dear Business Patron/Potential Donor,

Varsity Blues Performing Arts is celebrating its 43rd year of providing opportunities and experiences for Varsity Blues cast members; children from the local community, regardless of socioeconomic status. Varsity Blues does much of their work with the help of volunteers; through fundraising, and the generous support of the southeast Michigan community and other sponsors. 

Varsity Blues provides experiences for students in first through twelfth grade. The organization puts on two to three shows a year. This winter they performed “The Descendants”, a Disney production. The students in 2nd through 8th grade will put on their second mini production - “Dare to Dream”, another Disney production. In the summer of 2026, the whole cast will perform a summer show, titled Opry Dreams, which will be a country themed musical. The Varsity Cast will also perform in Nashville, this summer for their tour show “Opry Dreams.” The cast will have the opportunity to work with choreographers, vocal coaches and is taught the art of acting and performing. These experiences are a great asset to these children; as it teaches them to feel comfortable on stage in front of an audience, provides them with the opportunity to become proficient in public speaking, which then provides these young performers with a sense of confidence. All of these are valuable tools which translate to useful skills as an adult.

We strive to keep our costs for participation low, so that no child is unable to participate due to monetary constraints. To support this mission, we are seeking sponsors from local businesses and businesses willing to purchase business ads for our summer show program.
