Dear Business Patron/Potential Donor,
Saline Varsity Blues is a non-profit youth show choir that provides vocal performance, acting, and dance opportunities. We are very proud to have been a part of the local community for the past 43 years!
Each year, our cast, of up to 100 local youth, entertains crowds with two major productions. Our Summer Show takes place in July and includes performances by those in Grades 1-12, but also highlights our Varsity Cast’s (Grades 9-12) tour show. Our Winter Show takes place in December and has recently featured amazing performances of Disney’s Frozen and Moana, with a much-anticipated performance of The Lion King coming this December 8th, 9th, and 10th at Saline High School.
Auditions are held each September for high school students interested in joining our Varsity Cast. The Varsity Cast participates in the Winter and Summer Show productions and spends countless hours preparing for their Tour Show. Over the years, our High School casts have been able to perform their Tour Shows at some amazing places, including Branson, Nashville, Disney World, Chicago, New York City, Stars At Sea Cruise to the Caribbean, and Disneyland. This year's Varsity Cast will perform in Walt Disney World
Auditions for our younger cast (grades 1-8) are held in the Spring, followed by rehearsals for the Summer Show. This year’s winter show is The Little Mermaid. The Summer show will be based on Hollywood hits!
