The Miss Mercer County Fair Queen's Pageant will be held Saturday, June 28th 2025 at PikeView Highschool located at 3566 Eads Mill Rd Princeton, WV 24740.

**If you are crowned Queen (speaking to all divisions) you are required to be available for The Mercer County Fair August 1st and 2nd, 2025 and children's Pageant June 29th, 2025. 

** If you are crowned Queen in the Miss division you are required to represent the Mercer County Fair at WVAFF at Charleston, WV in January. 

PRE-Teen: (Ages 10-12) 

- Entry Fee: $100 

TEEN: (Ages 13-15)

- Entry Fee: $100

QUEEN: (Ages 16-21)

-Entry Fee: $100 

**REQUIREMENTS: The Pre-teen contestants must be 10-12 years old on the day of the pageant. The Teen contestants must be 13-15 years old on the day of the pageant. The Miss contestants must be 16 years of age by January 1st, 2026 or have not reached their 22nd birthday by January 1st, 2026 

 Fan Favorite: Votes will be collected when the doors open and will be $1 per vote. You may collect money prior to the pageant to bring for your votes. Fan Favorite winner will receive a Rhinestone Crown, sash and Prize.

Photogenic: Contestants may submit one photo for the Photogenic Award at a cost of $5. The winner of the Photogenic Award will receive a small prize.

Pageant Day Schedule: (tentative)

 9:30-10:00 Arrival and Check in

10:00-11:30 Rehearsal

11:30-12:30 Queens Brunch (will be provided)

2:00- Interviews (Teen/Miss)

4:30- All Contestants should be back to school (if leaving, but everyone will be able to stay there that day)

5:30- Doors open to Public

6:00 - It's Showtime! 

 

 Phases of competition:

Personal Interview: Teen and Miss (contestants are recommended to wear a clean, stylish, and professional outfit. This should be a job interview appropriate outfit. Nothing that is too short or revealing.) 

Teens: 3 minutes

Miss: 5 minutes 

On-Stage Introduction: For your introduction you will wear an outfit in the theme of Country Chic. (Please make sure this outfit is appropriate for the pageant.)

On-Stage: Evening Gown: ( Any floor length formal gown of the contestants choosing.)

On-Stage interview:

Teen/Miss: Will be asked one question that they randomly select onstage via fishbowl style.  

Each contestant will be given ONE wrist band to give to the person who will be assisting them throughout the day in the dressing room. This individual will get into the pageant for free. The assistant MUST be female.
Any additional guests of the contestant will NOT be permitted to enter the building until Doors open to public at 5:30pm. No other guests of contestants will be permitted in the dressing room at any time during the pageant day; before, during or after the pageants completion.

Prize Packages:

The PRE-TEEN Mercer County Fair Queen will receive a $100 cash award when crowned, a Crown, Sash, Gift Package and Flowers.

The TEEN Miss Mercer County Fair Queen will receive a $150 cash award when crowned, a Crown, Sash, Gift Package and Flowers.

The MISS Mercer County Fair Queen will receive a $500 cash award at the end of her reign, Crown, Sash, Flowers, Gift Package, paid entry to the annual WVAFF Pageant and One (1) WVAFF Convention Ticket for the Pageant weekend.

By electronically signing this application form, you and the contestant agree to the rules established above. Any contestant and/or family member or guest showing less than sportsman-like behavior, drama, and/or bullying will disqualify and remove the contestant from the Pageant. No refund will be given under these circumstances.

You also agree to not hold the Mercer County Fair Pageant or any of its members liable for any damages or injuries incurred.
