No Show Policy, Effective 01/01/2024
At New Image Plastic Surgery we are committed to providing quality healthcare services to our patients. To optimize appointment availability and ensure the best possible care for all patients, we have implemented the following no-show policy:
Cancellation and No-Show Fee: Any appointment that is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice, or any appointment where the patient fails to arrive without notice (a "noshow"), will be subject to a fee of $100.
Purpose of the Fee: The purpose of this fee is to compensate for the time and resources allocated for the scheduled appointment and to discourage last-minute cancellations or noshows. This policy enables us to maintain a more efficient appointment schedule, ensuring that we can provide timely and accessible care to all our patients.
Notification of Cancellation: Patients are encouraged to notify us of any cancellations or rescheduling requests as soon as possible but no later than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another patient.
Payment of Fee: We understand that life can be unpredictable, and unforeseen circumstances may arise. As we are implementing this new policy, we want to extend a bit of grace to our patients. The first occurrence of a no-show will be considered a free pass, and no fee will be charged. However, in the event of a second no-show or repeated offenses, the patient will be subject to the $100 cancellation fee. This fee will be charged to the patient's account and must be paid before scheduling any future appointments with our practice.
Review and Modification: We reserve the right to review and modify this policy as needed. Any changes will be communicated to patients in advance.
