I have previous child care experience but CANNOT provide a copy of prior pre-service training certificate. Before being counted in the child/caregiver ratio, I will receive 8 hours of pre-service training.

I acknowledge that the 8 hours of pre-service training will cover the following areas:

Positive guidance and discipline of children
Age-appropriate activities for children
Positive interaction with children
I also acknowledge that I will receive 1 hour of pre-service training to be allowed to work with children younger than 24 months of age that covers the following areas:

Understanding and using safe sleep practices and preventing sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), and
