By downloading the provided AHOP app on your phone, you can participate in the AHOP pilot project. You thereby consent to and/or acknowledge that:
- You are over 18 years of age.
- You understand what the AHOP pilot project entails.
- Your participation in the AHOP pilot project is voluntary.
- The information, securely stored in your downloaded wallet app, is confidential as it contains specific information including biometrics copied from your passport.
- You are the keeper of this information and therefore responsible for keeping your
AHOP app and its contents secure and private.
The AHOP project is a Pilot and as such carries no absolute guarantees that the services will
a) be timely, uninterrupted, or error-free,
b) fully meet your requirements or expectations
c) be free from errors or that defects will be corrected in time for your use.
The data you provide when using the DTC wallet app will be shared with the Aruba Immigration authority for:
- you to complete the legally required on-line Embarkation and Disembarkation card.
allowing you to use the AHOP Immigration FACEPOD booth.
- You are aware that an alternative method to completing the ED-Card exists outside of the AHOP pilot project (manual entry at Aruba Online ED (edcardaruba.aw). When using this alternative, you will not be able to use the AHOP Immigration FACEPOD booth.
- You will still need a valid printed passport with you
- You are requested to report any findings or issues to the AHOP project manager (Gino Schwengle / projects@fhc.aw)
