  • Your Organization and Your United We Row Grant Proposal

We'd like to know more about your rowing organization and the initiative that needs support, as well as how it matches USRowing's aforementioned goals.
  • USRowing Organizational Objectives

  • USRowing stewards and grows the sport of rowing through three pillars:

    • Experience - Rowing community members have exceptional experiences that enhance their journey in the world of rowing
    • Inclusion - Together we cultivate a diverse and inclusive rowing community that is welcoming, fair, and accessible to all.
    • Performance - We strive to support athletes in their pursuit of excellence on and off the water.

We believe these pillars are essential to success in rowing and are eager to support organizations whose programs align with these ideas. Please limit to 250 words or less.

  • Impact

Please note that USRowing will seek mid- and end-of-grant cycle reports with impact and metrics. Some examples may include but are not limited to the number of participants, demographics (race/ethnicity, ability, gender), retention of athletes, social-emotional learning. Please limit to 250 words of less.
  • Representation

“Representation” refers to the diversity of people at your rowing organization and in leadership positions who represent or are connected to the communities that you serve or are seeking to serve. As new athletes enter boathouses across the country, seeing themselves in leadership and having a voice in decision-making help them feel welcomed and valued.
