    Each individual requesting to visit 
    must be a current/active Patron Member in good standing.

    Upon completion of this form, you should be automatically directed to a "thank you" page. If you are not redirected,
    we have not received the request to visit. Please try again.

  • Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums PAVM Tour's Overview

  • PAVM allows you to access the Vatican Museums
    before normal morning opening hours.

    • The Morning Standard Tour includes the Sistine Chapel,
      the Raphael Rooms, the exquisite Borgia Apartments, and the Upper Galleries, including the magnificent Gallery of Maps and Tapestries.                                                  Adding optional morning only venues to your standard itinerary allows you to discover more treasures within the Vatican Museums.
    • If you would like to come in the afternoon, the PAVM tour allows you unique access to our restoration laboratories.
      The Afternoon Standard Tours with Restoration Laboratory are available only on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

  • In the afternoon, the PAVM tour allows you
    unique access to our restoration laboratories.

    The Patrons' visits to the restoration laboratories are only  available Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at 3 pm*.

     On these days, the Patrons' tour will start with an exclusive visit to the restoration labs followed by standard tour of the Museums and the Sistine Chapel. 

  • * Due to ongoing restoration work. If you have any question regarding the laboratory visit, the ORPAVM can be of assistance.

    Because of limited space in the laboratories, the groups must not exceed more than ten individuals.

  • VISITING POLICY

    *PLEASE READ CAREFULLY*
  • This form is a request to visit the Vatican Museums through the Patrons of the Arts of the Vatican Museums Office. Confirmation will be sent after the information provided in this form has been processed and arrangements have been finalized.

    PAVM Guided tours are limited to patrons in good standing only (personal and non-transferable). Non-Patron will not be permitted access to the Vatican Museums and will be directed to the Vatican Museums Ticket Office. Tour requests can only be guaranteed when the Vatican Office of Relations with the Patrons is notified at least three weeks in advance. 

    IMPORTANT:

    Guided Tours of St. Peter's Basilica and the "Scavi," excavations beneath the Basilica as well as Papal Audience Tickets are NOT handled by the Office of Relations with the Patrons.

    DRESS CODE: Please be mindful of the dress code rules in the Vatican. Entry to the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Gardens is permitted only to appropriately dressed visitors. Low cut or sleeveless clothing, shorts, miniskirts are not allowed.
